Mrs. Plouffe is the founder of the String School of Franklin and Director of Music for Franklin Public Schools.  She received a bachelor’s degree in violin performance and a master’s degree in music education. She is also a member of the Claflin Hill Symphony Orchestra.

Instructor, Beginner Violin / Viola
Mrs. Schoen received her bachelor’s degree in music education and her master’s degree in education. She has performed with the Central Massachusetts and the Thayer Symphony Orchestras.

Instructor, Beginner II Violin / Viola
Mrs. Loukota received her bachelor’s degree in music education and has performed in string quartets, chamber and large orchestras in New Mexico and Massachusetts. She is the Franklin middle school orchestra teacher.

Mr. Selby received his bachelor’s degree in cello performance. Since 2010, he has been a cello instructor for the String School of Franklin and the Lifelong Music Academy’s Private Music Lesson program. He is also a member of the Claflin Hill Symphony Orchestra.

Mr. Sergi, an alumni of FHS and the String School of Franklin, received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in viola performance. He teaches private violin/viola lessons for the Lifelong Music Academy’s Private Music Lesson program and is a member of the Claflin Hill Symphony Orchestra.
